I have participated in two recent discussions on Covid-19 on BBC Radio Ulster’s Sunday Sequence.
Sunday 5 April the topic was ‘Learning survival today from the lessons of the past’. Other discussants were consultant physician and clinical lecturer Michael Trimble, and professor and principal of St John’s College, Durham, David Wilkinson.

On Sunday 15 March the topic was ‘Protect the profits or the people: The Coronavirus ethical dilemma’. Other discussants were theologian Elaine Storkey, economist and former health board chairman John Simpson, and the Church of England’s national adviser on medical ethics and health and social care policy, Brendan McCarthy.
