The Transitional Justice Institute at Ulster University invites you to attend a one-day conference on ‘Bending the Rules―LGB&T Stories of Faith, Change and Inclusion’, on Monday 21 October at Ulster University, Yorkgate campus, Room BA-00-008.

This one-day conference explores the barriers and challenges surrounding the inclusion of LGB&T people in faith communities. Moreover, it provides a space to consider the role of storytelling in challenging silences and renewing conversations around diversity, inclusion and faith.

On the same day, Prof Richard O’Leary will be speaking in the Irish Studies Seminar Series at Queen’s at 4.15 pm on ‘The faithful underground: Gay Christian activism in Ireland in the 1970s and 1980s’. The talk will take place at 27 University Square, Room 01.003.
